Rare and beautiful, this Armenian Marash embroidery dates to the late 19th century from the Marash area of SE Anatolia. Typical Armenian embroidery in natural-dyed cotton. Homespun and woven cotton dyed with indigo forms the base of this lovely, textured, beloved piece. Panelled. Unlined. In original condition with some imperfections. Approximately 5'7" x 4'2"
