Bold and colorful Kazak, dated 1908. Armenian inscription says “Welcome, please sit down”. 6'7" x 4'4" (2.10 m x 1.35 m). A fantastic example of a commemorative testament. The inscribed date is March 20, 1908. The hyphen (“-“) woven into the year is part of the month and the day. It reads as follows, 20th day of the 3rd [month] (20/3).
